How to view the call hierarchy window?

According to this , I have to specify the name of the procedure, right-click and select the menu "Call Hierarchy" to open the call Hierarchy Window.

However, the context menu is not available when I highlight the routine.

What gives?

Two things: 1. Call hierarchy is available only in Pro and above 2. Call hierarchy is available only in C #

Assuming these two things are true for you, it looks like you might have a binding problem or something else going on. Open "Tools" → "Options" → "Keyboard" and enter "View.CallHierarchy" in the "Show Commands Containing" text box. See what is listed in the Shortcuts for the selected command drop-down list.

If you have Resharper installed, it can also hide it.

Uncheck ReSharper | Options | Wednesday | Keyboard and menu | Hide overridden menu items in Visual Studio.

I have a VS 2010 Prof and see the menu item. Make sure the cursor is on the method. Also a shortcut key: Ctrl K, Ctrl T
