HTML / CSS Logo placement is always in the upper left corner, regardless of screen size

Question

My question is a little hard to explain! Basically, I’m developing a website in HTML / CSS format and I need a logo that will always be in the upper left corner. On a Windows machine, you can resize the browser on either side, if you resize it on the left, my logo is disabled.

A good example of what I'm looking for is facebook, however you change the screen size, the logo will remain locked in the upper left corner.

Do I have a blonde moment here, or is there a specific way to do this?
