How can I simulate an SSO stack overflow? In particular, where does it integrate with serverfault.com?

How does SSO work for? ... whatever they do, it works for all sites on the network.

I would like to know what Stack does, so I see if it is possible to get a similar registration scheme between http://perfmon.com and http://eventvwr.com in ADFS. I understand that SAML and OpenID are different animals, but the concept of transparent registration should be the same.

Q: How does Stackoverflow "merge" with other sites, such as serverfault?

OpenID, one year later on the SO blog explains how they solve the problem.

In addition, the SO blog has a post on the new Global Logic Engine .

StackOverflow, Serverfault, and Superuser are part of StackExchange .

So, I assume that they have access to the profiles of other users (through direct access to the database, API, or otherwise).

Doctype.com is owned by litmus paper and therefore is not managed by Stackexchange.
