Where is my rail installation located? Where are the rail plugins?

I am trying to remove the plugin that I installed for rails (paperclip). But I really don't know where I can find the local rails installation directory.

So where can I find the rails and rails plugins in the local file system? I have OS X.

Or how can I remove paperclip from the command line?

paperclip is a rails plugin, which means it is in

[your rails app directory]/vendor/plugins/paperclip 

therefore, if you delete this folder, the paper clip will disappear.
