IsBackground Impact on .Net Threads?

Question

I know that when the main method is started, and only the other threads that are running are background threads, then the application terminates. With the exception of delaying the completion of the program or not, does the background thread do something different or respond differently than the non-phonic thread?

No, they are identical to normal threads, except that they do not prevent the completion of the process.

From MSDN:

Background threads are identical to the foreground, except that background threads do not interfere with the process from completion.
