Run the WinPhone7 application in the emulator programmatically (for automatic testing)

I am trying to find a way to run WP7 applications in the emulator as part of an automated test system. I tried to run XapDeploy.exe from the command line with the specified xap, no luck there (it was worth taking a picture, right?).

I can just finish the emulator process after a certain time ... if I could start it. Does anyone know if there is a way?

Justin Angel wrote a very detailed post on automating interaction with the emulator for testing. It includes details about remote recording to isolated storage, which can be useful if you need data on a device / emulator as part of your testing.

It seems you can run the emulator using XDE.exe
