Screen recording software for capturing software defects

Do you know a good screen recording software to help the quality management process? I think the following functions are important:

  • easy to use.
  • automatic capture of the last 5 or 10 minutes
  • small video size
  • low price: -)

Snagit is good for screenshots, Techsmith Camtasia is more focused on the screencast or the free version of Techsmith, which is Techsmith Jing http://www.techsmith.com/jing/ , which is pretty clean.

BlueBerry Flashback to a large extent. Just found it today. Express Edition does it, and it's free. Set it to record continuously, and save the last x minutes or file size. 2 minutes led only to hair under a 3 MB file (compressed in its own BB format) and were slightly less than 30 MB of memory; taking 6 minutes, and about 37-38 MB, I don’t know the file size yet. Basically, ~ 11% of the processor power hangs, sometimes from time to time it reaches 18 or 22.

I find Techsmith SnagIt very convenient when I need to take pictures or videos
