UIDatePicker in PopoverView on iPad

I have an iPad app running iOS 3.2.2 that displays a settings view in ui popover. This is all great, but now I'm trying to make a date picker for rendering inside the view and I'm not sure what the best approach is to display it.

Now he has a button that switches the visibility of the date picker in modal mode, but it seems very awkward to control the dismissal compared to the usual approach to the action sheet.

I was not able to find a โ€œbest practiceโ€ for this situation, and I was wondering if anyone had encountered this earlier and could offer some suggestions or recommendations.

Thanks!

Pls check the solution provided in the link .. can help you. 1. Create a UIDatePicker programmatically (do not use IB) 2. add it to the view after the pop-up window.

Pay attention to the answer indicating that the UIPickerView should be the root view of your controller when it is presented in a popover. It looks like you are trying to put a date picker as one of several views inside a popover. If so, you will encounter the problem described here.
