Is the dark background of the new WPF ribbon becoming a gradient?

I am using the new version of MS WPF Ribbon (version MS WPF Ribbon 3.5.40729.1) with Windows 7, and I am trying to change the background of the tape. Everything looks great if I use light background colors.

But, for example, if I select "Black", the white gradient will be shown in black. It seems impossible to remove white and just have a black background. And it looks ugly, especially when each Textcolor is usually white. (Tabheaders get a white background and are no longer readable)

In the samples (I leave everything as it is), if I set Background = Black directly in the ribbon property, the effect will be the same.

What do I need to install or do to get rid of the white gradient?

RibbonGroup template has a hard-coded gloss effect. It is lame, but the only way to get rid of it is to override temlate for RibbonGroup . If you have Blend, simply extract the template and tear out the violating LinearGradientBrush .
