How to analyze program memory usage in Visual Studio 2010?

Is there a way to check which memory was allocated in a program encoded in VS 2010? I noticed that the recent program that I am doing is using more and more memory all the time, without releasing any.

Also, are there any code development articles that teaches you good memory management? I seem to be looking for the wrong terms on google as I keep getting useless results.

Commercial tools exist such as ANTI Memory Profiler or .NET Memory Profiler or dotTrace . Secondly, check out this MSDN article . Finally, Maoni Stephens has many blog posts on garbage collection and memory management in .NET. They are all connected here .
