Not claimed. It may not be available due to its level of protection.

I have 2 WinForm applications.

The completed, working WinFormApp1 has a link to CompanyName.BusinessObjects.dll.

There is a link to BusinessObjects.dll in the new WinForm application with nothinhg. when I type “Import CompanyName.BusinessObjects”, intellisense recognizes it and shows the available methods when I refer to the contained objects.

But,. when I compile it, I get the error message "not declared, it may not be available due to its level of protection." and it looks like it no longer recognizes the BusinessObjects project.

I swear this is a mistake. This happened earlier, and I think I was able to clear it by clicking VS2010, clearing and recompiling everything.

Now nothing helps.

I despaired and checked, because I think this is a mistake, and I do not know how to resolve it.

Here people talk about the same problem and resolution as before, but that does not work for me anymore.

Answer. Look at the output window for tips.

BusinessObjects.dll" could not be resolved because it has a dependency on "System.Web, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral

My client application was compiled against the CLIENT framework, and not with a fully functional one. The solution is to compile completely or preferably remove the Web dependency on BO, which is a pain after the fact.

This happened to me, and I found out that everything that my .designer file .designer was a Namespace included at the top. There were problems with the projection when uninstalling this fix.

Is there anything in BusinessObjects declared as internal?

I think this may be a problem with namespaces. Make sure everything is in the same namespace, then try again.

You tried to run the IDE, I think this is Visual Studio as an administrator?
