What type of application allowed autorun on the iPhone?

I wonder what type of application is allowed to run in the background / foreground when loading the iPhone, and they are limited to iOS 4?

I think voip applications. That Apple documentation is anyway and yes, they are limited to iOS 4.0. You must declare your application as voip and make changes to the code. See Link: Background Execution

Background execution is not supported by iOS. Apple takes many steps like this to prevent its customers from invading their privacy rights. If the application can start at startup, then it will not have problems recording all actions, such as GPS, saved files and keystrokes. Apple does not work and probably will not work with several processes (more than one third-party process starts immediately).
