Real-time Face-tracking on Iphone

Does anyone know which is currently the best library to implement real-time face tracking solution for iPhone? I did research, but I found some pretty old articles about OpenCV ports. I would like to know if there is any specific, reliable, fast (and possibly free) AR solution for applying real-time images on a face to an iPhone camera. A video stream (not just a static image).

Any help (link, tutorial) would be great.

Thanks everyone!

Elos

iOS 5 provides face recognition as a natural feature.

Basically, you just need to configure the object to act as delegate video output streams (maybe your controller, for example) and use the CIDetector to process this stream (which is a class available only in iOS 5 ).

This CIDetector object will search for faces in each of your video frames and return a CIFaceFeature object with several information about the found faces, such as the position of the eyes and mounth, as well as bounds (the rectangle in which the face was found inside).

You can check this blog for more implementation details: https://web.archive.org/web/20130908115815/http://i.ndigo.com.br/2012/01/ios-facial-recognition/
