Learning XQuery () on SQL Server

SQL server 2008 sp2

I am new and find that the syntax of XQuery especially XPath is very complex. E.g. trying to use various xml methods like exists (), nodes (), value (), etc.

Is there a good online tutorial or book you recommended?
