I would start by posting the questions here on StackOverflow, describing your actual symptoms (one question per theorized error, please), so we can hash if there really is a compatibility issue. Or perhaps your problems have already been addressed here in other matters.
Once we have determined that there is a genuine flaw in the device, depending on the manufacturer, I can warn them about the problem. Although there are several public channels for this, I try to establish relationships with as many device manufacturers as possible, only for such problems.
In addition, as soon as the compatibility error is confirmed, I, you or someone else may indicate the error against the Compatibility Support Kit (CTS) . This is the battery of tests that a device must pass in order to qualify for the Android Market and related applications from Google. The true compatibility issue should be raised by the CTS, so we will not encounter similar compatibility issues in the future. For example, here is the CTS error. I reported the shortcomings of Samsung phones and here is the CTS error. I reported that it was connected with the lack of HTC phones.
It is very important that I see StackOverflow compatibility issues. Since I don't know if @ syntax works in questions, you can add a comment to your own question addressed to @CommonsWare to increase the likelihood that I will find your question.
