Android Sync Adapter Resources

Does anyone know of any books or online resources (other than dev docs) that cover the Sync Adapter and its use? Trying to find some good stuff for yourself.

Or .. does anyone know of any alternative libraries for hosting remote synchronization services?

There are really no good resources at the moment. If I had to guess why, this is because the actual synchronization implementation will be very specific to each application. I am writing one right now and it is very trial and error.

We could definitely benefit from a good tutorial on some of the more well-known api (e.g., Twitter account sync implementation). Perhaps they will finally release the official Twitter app code as if they promised.
