I have a Sitecore layout that generates a vCard from a Sitecore element, including a personโs name, business address, etc., and saves it as a file on a web server for subsequent (quick) search. The vCard part is the name of the organization (business). We are an international company, which means that in different regions our brand name is slightly different.
For example, in English, our name is [Brand Name] LLP, and in Swedish it is [Brand Name] Advokat AB.
The language context used to create vCards is English, but the name org is localized in Sitecore. Is it possible to switch from English to another language in order to capture the localized name org and then go back?
Alternative approach
An alternative that I am considering would be simply hardcoding the org name in the code, and based on the personโs office address output the correct org name. The disadvantage of this would be that I did not take advantage of Sitecore's localization capabilities. In addition, there may be other vCard components that will eventually be localized - I do not want to hardcode everything.
