Where are the iOS hosting guidelines?

I am trying to find a link with details on offset principles for subview layouts in iOS with no luck. At first I looked in the IB manual, and in the section on layouts, it indicates that the IB guides (blue lines) use recommendations that are described in detail in iOS Mobile HIG, but I searched for this document and did not find such guidelines.

Does anyone know where this is indicated, or will I just have to discuss with IB and write down the numbers on sticky notes?

I do not think that there is any documentation specific to what you are asking for (except for the standard sizes of the elements described in the documents). TapWorthy is worth a read, and it will definitely help if you want to understand the rationale for some Apple UI design decisions (and others).
