UISwitch, something similar for a Mac?

I'm sure most of you are familiar with UISwitch on iOS. Are any of their existing projects trying to implement something similar on a Mac? If not, where to start? I often see them and can think of many applications.

Thanks in advance

I used the Mondo Switch that part of the Cocoa Mondo Kit . It works very well.

I think you should use NSCheckBox , as this is the equivalent on the computer where you use the mouse, not your finger.

I recently expanded Peter Hosey PRHOnOffButton to add iOS-like background colors and labels. Since my conclusion is, it may or may not have the same reservation described above by Peter.

For those facing this issue in the future, I developed UISwitch for Mac (MacToggle) Swift 3 & AutoLayout

This is an exact copy of the iOS UIS switch and is fully customizable.

ITSwitch does not require images, integrates with Interface Builder and has wonderful (modern) animations:

starting with macOS 10.15, “Catalina” has its own control called “NSSwitch”: https://developer.apple.com/documentation/appkit/nsswitch?language=objc
