How to fill a Visual Studio fragment in VB.NET?

In C #, if you start a fragment, you press Tab to cycle through the elements of the fragment and press Enter to end and exit the fragment.

In VB.NET, you still use Tab to cycle through the elements of the fragment, but how do you end the fragment? Enter does not work and I cannot determine the correct key combination

VB snippets do not work the same as C # snippets. VB snippets do not have an β€œend” and instead remain active until you start typing outside the snippet area. The best way is to press esc (once or twice depending on your current choice), and then use the arrow keys to navigate.

An excellent demo video is available on MSDN. It focuses mainly on C #, but has some explanation of VB fragments at the end.

See the posters for more information.

Enter does not work? This always worked for me when, for example, I add a new line after the end of the fragment. In addition, you can complete the fragment by simply moving it to another location and typing (or deleting) something.
