Windows Phone 7 - CameraTask not working

My WP7 application uses CameraCaptureTask to take a picture and then display it on the screen. The task works fine on the emulator, however it stops working when I deploy it to the device. While debugging, I found that CameraCaptureTaskObject.Show () is being called, but the camera does not appear. Instead, the completed capture job event is fired directly.

Any suggestions?

Thanks, Olivier, JustinAngel and Stuart. All your answers helped me solve the problem.

Removing the USB connection from the PC made it work. However, I could not debug my application further.

And as soon as I stopped the zune software, the application will not be deployed on my device. And I had to install the WPConnect tool to work with my device without using zune software.

Ensure that Zune software is not running on the PC after deploying the application to the device.

Make sure you do not have an active USB connection with a PC - see http://forums.create.msdn.com/forums/p/65574/401189.aspx
