Can users browse web application sources on ChromeOS?

If so, is there a way to compile (DO NOT obfuscate) JS code for deployment on ChromeOS?

From a quick code search using the Chromium.org Git browser, it seems that Google has not evaded to remove the Page View menu item from the version of Chrom (e | ium) that ships with the Chrom (e | ium) operating system.

Of course, there is nothing that would prevent them from hiding the option in the user interface or even removing this #ifdef -e-it function.
