Can I deploy Microsoft LightSwitch desktop applications as a single executable?

No, the current settings are:

  • Desktop Duplex Client
  • Three-tier desktop client
  • 3-tier browser client

Desktop applications (Silverlight Out-Of-Browser) are installed using "Click Once". There is an installer and several other files that are placed in the location that you specify when you publish it.

So this is not a single file as such.
