Opening a certain part of the system settings from the application

Question

I have a shortcut from my application that opens part of the system settings for storage (which works fine), but if the settings application is already running and the last time is left from the display settings, you will not get to the storage settings, but the display settings, when you click the shortcut .

Is there a way to force open the storage settings or say close (if not close) the settings application before trying to start the storage?

I use the intent android.settings.INTERNAL_STORAGE_SETTINGS to start the action.
