How can I check the filtering on the Android Market before publishing my application?

I want to change my AndroidManifest.xml with various permissions and functions and check how my application will be filtered according to these changes. Is there a way to do this without publishing my application that will notify users of the update?

How to try it with a test application that you publish and test filtering, and then simply remove from the market?

Or you can download an older version with test filters, and then a newer version will automatically overwrite it, and since it will have the correct filtering, you should be fine.

This is a cool idea, but impossible.

I would suggest downloading to the market and putting off marketing efforts until you make sure everything is in order.
