What is card_type for MasterCard when using Spreedly with Paypal?

Spreedly docs doesn't mention anything. Edit: They really are. I admit illiteracy.

Paypal docs say that the card type is "MasterCard", but in fact an attempt to authorize with this will result in the card type being invalid. "response from Paypal.

What magic line do you need to successfully charge your MasterCard? Examples I tried that do not work:

  • MASTERCARD
  • MC
  • Mastercard
  • Mastercard

  • Visa: visa

After some trial and error, I found out that the correct answer is the Master . "

It cost me money, so I thought I would do constructive ventilation, leaving some help to another developer who wondered.
