WebSphere MQ messages may contain short headers for rules and formatting, or RFH. RFHUtil (and its client companion RFHUtilc) allow you to use many messages with and without these headers. Since headers are widely used by WebSphere Message Broker, and for v6 Pub / Sub, the utility provides a convenient way to conduct special checks of message flows, publications, and subscriptions. It also allows loading and unloading queues into files or files in a queue, for example, performing regression testing with a known workload.
