Good afternoon!
I am starting with NuGet 1.2 on the VS2010 Express. I use SVN for my projects (without integration into VS, just TortoiseSVN). The question is that NuGet creates the /packages/ folder at the root of the solution. It seems that when you remove the package, NuGet will delete the package folder. This will break the working copy of SVN.
Any recommendations on SVN and NuGet working together?
Thanks in advance!
Update : I do not want to say that the entire /packages/ folder is deleted, I mean this, for example, when updating the T4MVC folder to 2.6.45 /packages/T4MVC.2.6.44 (along with the .svn folder inside) will be deleted, and this will break the working copy of SVN.
Update 2 . As I noticed, NuGet does not delete folders if there is something not belonging to the package inside it (the .svn folder in my case). Therefore, if you prefer to store packages in SVN, like me, after the upgrade, you should delete the folder left over from the old version of the package from SVN.
