.NET 2.0 / VS2005 - BringToFront () just doesn't work

BringToFront does not work. after the call, my form remains in the file explorer window or in any other window. This is clearly visible. This is otherwise excellent, but it just does not go to the fore when it is called. even if I do a โ€œshowโ€ sooner or later.

I cannot have the form "topMost" all the time. I just want it to appear in the foreground, as if someone had clicked the inscription. if other windows are displayed after it, they should be below them.

I am so desperate that this C ** p is not working. I am considering modeling a mouse click that will take my window / form to the foreground.

Is this really a bug in .NET?

I believe that you want Activate instead. "BringToFront" inherits from the base class "Control" and simply reorders the control in the current form.
