Did YouTube violate the introduction of IFrame on the iPhone?

We use embed YouTube iframe for video. All is well; execpt on the iPhone. On the iPhone, the image with the sample is stretched about two times higher than it should be. Playing the video leads to the message "You need to update Adobe Flash Player ..." - which, of course, cannot be right?

It worked well about a week ago.

I am currently testing iPhone 4 with 4.3.1, but also tested iPad 4.2.1.

My example I'm testing is here: http://wexion.net/posts/youtube_iframe_test

The HTML for this page is as follows, but the same problem occurs if I put it on the โ€œcorrectโ€ page.

<iframe class="youtube-player" type="text/html" width="300" height="246" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/mG0xiG_0I2E" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Does anyone else have this problem? Do you know what is going on? Or / and can it be fixed?

This seems to be a problem that Google / YouTube knows about. http://groups.google.com/group/youtube-api-gdata/browse_thread/thread/861d5605093fdd7b# as well as http://groups.google.com/group/youtube-api-gdata/browse_thread/thread/7490cb2d0aa69120

To upgrade people, the development team resolve two separate issues that affect iOS iframe playback:

One of the problems leads to the "you need to upgrade Flash Player ..." error message. This message is triggered when you try to play monetized videos (for example, video with ads) using iframe embed on iOS WebKit. This error message is obviously inappropriate because iOS does not have Flash Player, but at the end the video may still not play, even if the error message is modified, because not all iOS monetized videos are currently available.

Another problem associated with resizing the iframe player to after starting playback. This also works. I do not yet have information on whether one or both of these issues will be resolved in time for this week's push for a new player code to be held on Wednesday night of the PDT. I will update this thread with additional information when I have it.

Add scroll = no to the iframe. Worked for me.
