How to upgrade Netbeans workspace?

There is something in Eclipse called the upgrade workspace or F5 that updates the files to make sure that you select any files that have been modified outside of eclipse.

How to do it in Netbeans? Am I using 6.9.1 to develop PHP / Java?

I do not see the update, but does F5 work?

any clues? any plugins

Never think, find the ScanOnDemand plugin, and there is also a source β†’ Scan for external changes.

Inside NetBeans :

select "Source" > "Scan for External Changes"

this will force the IDE to look for changes and "Refresh" the file structure.

I develop PHP inside NetBeans and often create new files outside of the IDE . It does the trick every time and works fast.

I think below is better to answer this. While checking for external changes takes some time.

Instead.

Tools-> Options-> Files and uncheck the Enable automatic source scan box . Then it will provide a parameter like Refresh Folder.

This is cool against scanning the entire project to see the changes in one folder.

For Netbeans-IDE 7.2 and higher

Go to Tools-> Options-> Miscellaneous-> Files and uncheck the Enable automatic source scan box. Then it will give an option like Refresh Folder.

You can update the folder or the entire workspace.

Source β†’ Check External Changes

Files in projects will be updated or synchronized with the Windows file system.

on my networks 6.9

In addition, if you are using subversion, if you are using an external subversion client, you can run the β€œupdate” in the subversion menu to update the diff highlight.

The only thing that worked for me was the β€œSync” when I right-click on the project.
