Where is the TestNG eclipse plugin located

Where to find 5.x Testng eclipse plugin

Problem Installing the Old TestNG Plugin on Eclipse 3.5

Both questions are pretty old, so the links no longer work there. I have Eclipse 3.5 and I would like to install the Eclipse TestNG plugin. What is the location of the update site? I am switching to TestNG, so I can migrate the latest version of TestNG

PS: I tried http://beust.com/eclipse/ but it threw me an NPE as shown below

Try downloading the TestNG plugin from Market Place.

Eclipse → Help → Eclipse MarketPlace → TestNG ..

Install it. After restarting Eclipse, use it.

I used the last url located on the following page http://beust.com/eclipse-old/

This is http://beust.com/eclipse-old/eclipse-6.7.0.20120825_1316/

This worked perfectly.

Your url looks good (http://beust.com/eclipse), so I suspect the problem is not related to this, maybe your Eclipse installation is wrong or incorrectly configured (I do not need any special configuration for my installation Eclipse).

if the link: http://beust.com/eclipse/ does not work for versions 3.4 and higher, there may be a problem with the network connections of your eclipse, Go to window-> Settings-> search for SSL or network connections. Check if the settings are set for them according to your Internet / intranet.

open Eclipse Click on Help in the upper navigator Click to install new software Click Add Add pop-up Add repository open Enter a name as (example - TestNG) Enter a URL - http://beust.com/eclipse Click OK button Check the process bar because the plugin is installed in ecplise. After restarting the eclipse, Testng is installed in ecplise.

For eclipse Luna - http://marketplace.eclipse.org/content/testng-eclipse/metrics Drag the installation icon into the eclipse workspace and follow the instructions.

It works like a charm.

I noticed that it was a proxy server that stopped for installation after setting up a proxy server installed as a cream.

previous comment: After many attempts and attempts of another URL, finally found that the URL worked for me: http://beust.com/eclipse-old/eclipse-6.7.0.20120825_1316/

all other URLs continued to give an error for the MD5 example: An error occurred while collecting items to set the session context: (profile = epp.package.jee, phase = org.eclipse.equinox.internal.p2.engine.phases.Collect, operand =, action =). In my case, it seems that updates for Eclipse were a problem.

I just installed updates for my eclipse (Luna Service Release 2 (4.4.2) Build id: 20150219-0600) and restarted Eclipse. Then she went to help -> Eclipse Marketplace-> checked TestNG and installed it.

It worked for me.

This site " http://beust.com/eclipse " is redirected to http://dl.bintray.com/testng-team/testng-eclipse-release/

due to this eclipse, it is not possible to get the plugin in the source url.

to fix this, go to help-> install new software now add a new site to work with " https://dl.bintray.com/testng-team/testng-eclipse-release/ "

this is "https", with a list of plugins available in the URL,

select TestNG and continue with the installation.

it worked for me, hope it works for you too.
