Guid string must contain only hexadecimal characters

I am very sure that it was generated by .NET from the very beginning.

How to check a GUID is a GUID

Basically, you can only have hexadecimal characters in Guid, so the 'q in your GUID above is not valid.

I sincerely doubt that this originally came from the framework.
