How to read XML file using JAXB?

I am using JAXB to create Java classes from an XML schema. Now I want to read an XML file with these classes, but I can’t. I try this

I would suggest to do

  jaxbUnmarshaller.setSchema(schemaLocation);

Through this, you can check if your xml is checked against xsd or not, and you can also find out where the problem is in xml by reading stacktrace SAXException or JAXBException.

If you are creating a JAXB model from an XML schema, you must generate a JAXBContext in the package name instead of the class.

You should:

 JAXBContext.newInstance("com.example.foo");

And not:

 JAXBContext.newInstance(com.example.foo.Bar.class);
