Does Azure store CreateIfNotExist () as a result of an extra round?

Most examples of working with Azure Storage have .CreateIfNotExist(); inside the program stream. Therefore, if I have a method that puts blob, but before executing put, it executes .CreateIfNotExist(); Does this mean that an additional round trip has been added to the vault?

Yes. It would be better to create a container when starting the role (WebRole.cs / WorkerRole.cs) or when starting the application (Global.asax.cs)
