How to run the application in the old version of Simulator

I would like to know how to launch the iPhone application in previous versions of the iPhone simulator.

I have Mountain Lion, and lateet xcode 4.5 and the last monotone and mono-dev.

I tried to download the old xcode and iOS 5.1 sdk, but not sure how to get monodevelop to run the application inside the old simulator.

thanks

MonoDevelop will use the version of Xcode that you provide in the location SDK (MD) settings. By default it will use /Application/Xcode

From this version of Xcode, for example. 4.5, you can download additional iOS simulators. To do this, go to the Xcode menu, Settings , select the Downloads tab, select Components and click the Install button (for example, for the iOS 5.1 simulator).

Restarting MonoDevelop and it should raise the additional goals of the simulator.

To view / change them, go to the Project menu and select iPhone Simulator Target . You should see a list (starting with Default ) of all available versions of iOS (with one item for iPhone and one for iPad ).

Select the one you want and run (or debug) your application ...
