Sql server data generation

Can anyone recommend an open source / free tool to generate data for a Sql Server database?

I am looking for something like a Redgate Sql data generator.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

It mainly depends on your needs, because there are many tools for this purpose - as shown in the answer from NinethSense.

Not sure if you checked ApexSQL tools because they offer ApexSQL Generate - test data generator for SQL Server databases.

Now it is not open source, but it has a fully functional free trial, so you can check it and see if it is suitable for your needs.
