TFS2012 Sprint Planning: Can I Modify the Backlog Query?

We upgraded Team Foundation Server 2010 to Team Foundation Server 2012 and now use the excellent TFS2012 web access to process our product, our sprints and our game panel. And everything works very well. All but this: On our TFS2012 web access, I go to WORK and I see my Backlog product. However, I expect to see only PBIs that are not tied to Sprint (past / current or future sprints). However, I see that all PBIs do not have Done status. I would expect the PBIs to be removed from this backlog of the product when it is migrated to Sprint backup storage. Right?

I would like to edit a work item request for a change so that only a PBI that has an iterative path is not inside the sprint. Can I do it?

There is a Create Backlog Query button, and when I click on it, a new query is created. I can edit this request, but it is not used as a request for the Backlog / planning screen.

I did not try to see if this request is similar to the newly created Team TFS2012 project. This may have something to do with updating from the TFS2010 team project.

Thanks in advance.

Edit Oct 15:

When creating this question, I felt it was wrong that the PBI could be in both the Sprint backup storage and the product backlog. However, when you think about how this is done, it may be good. I have to think of a product lag as a lag from PBIs that are not running. PBIs can be scheduled for sprints (current or future or even past sprints), but they are not executed.

About the forecast function in the product backlog view: There are some problems with this. The lag priority has a higher priority than the already assigned PBI - sprint - this can be improved. I think that this function can be used only for a very rough estimate of future sprints. If you have a lot of PBI in your sprints, the forecast function can even be misleading. It's my opinion.

There is no way to hide work items that are already in the sprint / iteration or change the lag request. I also checked the TTP 2012 Update 1 CTP, which also includes a number of improvements. I think this will be a very useful feature. I created a Visual Studio UserVoice feature offer. If you have any votes, feel free to vote for them so that he gets more attention.

You need to change the PBI to the appropriate state. Once he has been β€œattached” to Sprint, he will no longer be behind.

If a PBI is assigned to a particular sprint and you set the PBI state to anything other than New, it will disappear from the backlog and will only be displayed in the sprint. If you save it in New, it will appear in both.
