Scipy for .NET looks like a dream to me. MSVS roundhouse launches all other python IDEs in person, and the apparent interaction with all other .NET languages ββwill be awesome (looking at you, in particular F # ... you really can be a functional gateway ... but I canβt leave mine python toolkit scientific table behind!)
It is very sad to see that it seems that the project is not very actively supported, to say the least. The first thing on my to do list is if I win the lottery ... Supporting this project will be a terrific reward / effend project for Microsoft to enhance its reputation in the field of scientific computing; from almost entirely from the radar to the very top of the stack. Just in case, if someone with a budget at Microsoft takes it seriously. You still provide MSVS to this torturous academy, but I made my future boss buy my MSVS at gunpoint * if you understood the full potential of this. (* It's not that my amazing performance didn't convince him in the least ...)
So, no, there are not many direct answers to your question, but perhaps this pomp will pay off sometime in the future.
