Setting custom cookies in Jmeter

It seems that there is not much information about forcing Cookie values in JMeter (2.8).

I would like to be able to set a cookie at the beginning of the stream (AWS LoadBalancer ID) to select a specific identifier each time. The reason for this is that AWS gives you the same ELB ID every time, unless you change the IP. I want to check more than one.

I tried setting custom cookies in the HTTP Cookie Manager without success. (nothing added)

I also tried adding COOKIE_Test to the HTTP Header Manager without success. (added to the header, but not considered a cookie)

Perhaps not possible?

Update : adding a domain record fixed it ...
When checking a regular set-cookie, it lowered the domain, so I did the same ...
I think that Cookie Manager ignores user cookies with zero values as well.

Adding a record to the domain is fixed.

Cookie Manager ignores any user cookies with zero values.

Have you tried using the cookie manager user interface?
