Forced cache deletion

Question

Can I find out which command in the terminal forcibly removes the cache from GIT?

According to what I know for git removal, git rm --capped thefilename

But now I get an error

error: "tutorial.h" delivered content other than the file and HEAD (use -f to force removal)

So, can I know how can I remove this?
