I have a blog that uses Channel Images to upload and manage images. The content area is the WYGWAM field. I have several sizes configured in Channel Images so that the user can customize the layout inside their content (landscape on the left, landscape on the right, portrait on the left, portrait on the right) when adding images to the WYGWAM content field. Then I have two other sizes: thumb and gallery. This is for the image gallery, which is displayed below the content. Thumb is set as a small preview in the field settings, and the gallery is set as a large preview in the field settings. All this works fine in the form of a CP post.
However, when using the Safecracker form, everything does not work. I can select existing images, but when I add a photo to the content field (WYGWAM), it does not change its size. I get a dialog box and the options I want to select, but this selection is not saved.
What happens, the image is added to the WYGWAM content using the size that I selected in the field settings as a large preview. I checked this by resizing the size selected for the "big preview".
However, if I upload a new image and select a size, it works fine. The problem is only with existing images (i.e. previously uploaded for other records).
Can I use dimensions in Channel Images / safecracker / wygwam?
