Simulate a hard drive gesture in a Windows Phone 8 emulator

How to simulate multi-touch in Windows Phone 7 emulator?

I'm trying to simulate a pinch gesture, so I can zoom out, but I can’t figure out how ?! It seems to me like a rookie problem, but wherever I checked, they say that there should be a pinch button on the toolbar on the right in the emulator.

Any ideas?

The Windows Phone emulator only supports multitouch gestures using a multitouch device. You must have a screen or touchpad to work with it. In addition, comments were made on the use of two mice, and for this there is a project at codeplex http://multitouchvista.codeplex.com .

A brief video demonstration on using MultiTouchVista to emulate a hard gesture on a Windows Phone can be found here: http://vimeo.com/10330829

A great option is to get one of these cheap Android tablets and turn it into a second monitor. Then you can make touch gestures in the emulator. In addition, the phones are so fast that I often just debug the phone and skip the emulator.
