AVD Manager will no longer run in Eclipse

When I click the AVD Manager button in Eclipse, nothing happens (and I don't mean anything) ...

When I try to start the application, I get the message “No compatible goals. Do you want to add a new Android virtual device? When I click“ Yes ”, I get the“ Select a device for Android ”window. Thus, I check the“ Run new Android an Android device ”that activates the“ Manager ”button. But when I click this button, nothing happens again ...

So, for some reason, my AVD manager will not start.

PS: The AVD manager worked until when I was doing the Hello World exercise. For some reason, it stopped working. I tried reinstalling the entire SDK and Eclipse, but to no avail. I am working with Windows 7.

Any suggestions?

I had the same problem. so I deleted sdk (C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Android \ android-sdk) and deleted the folder C: \ Users \ hp.android (be sure to delete this folder, otherwise the problem will exist even after reinstalling). when reinstalling everything worked fine ...

You may not have installed the sdk path. for this,

step1: go to windows menu option step2: click on preference, step3: select android step 4: change the android sdk path and restart eclipse

Try installing or reinstalling the AVD system image in the Android SDK Manager in Eclipse.
