Facebook Dialog vs Open Graph Action

I just want to understand the pros and cons of creating a message through the dialogue and the open graph action for the first facebook application that I am doing.

The most attractive aspect of the OG activity message seems to be the “aggregate” box, if I can engage users in using my application often and sequentially, but the dialog seems to guarantee a 100% chance that the message will be displayed individually for the timeline user (vs OG action post, which can only be displayed in the "recent activity" field, which is not obvious to see ...)

I miss the reasons why OG actions seem to be pushing (and are dialogs slowly dying?)

thanks!

Dialogs do not disappear at all, but they can represent only one kind of action in your application.

Open Graph allows you to display N number of actions in your application, for example, listen to a song, watch / love a song, add a song to a playlist, etc.

Obviously, you don’t want to use the dialog to share all these actions on the user's timeline.

For a simple exchange of some elements, use the dialog, but for something else, use OG.
