Open NFC emulator (NFC not available)

I followed the steps to install Open NFC Emulator. When will I try emulator setup

select Settings->Wireless & networks->NFC settings

The created AVD does not allow any changes. The checkbox for NFC settings is disabled, and below it has (Android Beam Unavailable because NFC is turned off)

How can I apply NFC settings? How to include NFC in the emulator?

When you create your AVD using the OpenNFC add-on, you can activate NFC.

But this is done not in the settings, but in a separate application "OpenNFC Settings".
