Publish a Google Drive website with a custom domain

Question

I heard that you can publish a static website on a Google drive in a shared folder, and I am wondering how I can set up my domain for this website hosted on the disk.

While you cannot map your own domain to a host in Google Drive (for example, using CNAME or A records), you can do one of these:

• Set the redirect to your domain on Google Drive, for example. by downloading the index.php file using <?php header("Location: https://googledrive.com/host/VERYLONGFOLDERID"); ?> <?php header("Location: https://googledrive.com/host/VERYLONGFOLDERID"); ?>
• Use the free G Drives service, which provides custom short URLs (aliases) for hosting Google Drive
