Resize Android emulator for my screen

This may be a stupid question, but I have been developing Android for quite some time, but just installed a new version of the SDK plugin and ADT Eclipse.

I noticed that when I create a new AVD, I can choose a specific device, Ie Nexus 7 or Nexus Phone. I chose the Galaxy Nexus, but the emulator does not fit the screen, so I do not see the bottom of the device. I'm currently working on my desktop, which has a 21-inch monitor (1600 x 900), which is not the tallest in the world, but I want it to be able to be installed on the screen. I also have a secondary screen on which I usually hold the emulator, so I can see the code and the emulator convenient for debugging, but this screen is much smaller and has a resolution of 1280 x 800. At the moment, it will be impossible to press the back and home buttons , and if I do the development on my laptop, which is obviously a lot smaller than the screen, I probably won’t be able to see most of the device, since the AVD does not seem to scale to fit the screen.

Is there any way that this can be done. Below is a screenshot of how the device looks on my screen.

Right-click your project -> Run Configuration -> select a target -> in the additional text field of the emulator command line, enter "-scale 0.75" and run the application

For those using the Ionic CLI or other solutions, the following worked for me:

ionic run android -scale=0.75

In Android Studio, the parameter is set in AVD Manager in the "Size and orientation of the launch" section.
