Kendo UI treeview parent node without flag

Question

Which approach would be to display the TreeView using checkboxes, but I don’t need a checkbox for node parents only for “items” without children. those. I am discovering a folder structure but I don't want to have a check box for any file-only folder.

You should use the checkbox . If there are no children, they do not display a checkmark. Here is an example of JSBIN what I'm talking about.
