ITunes Connect not requesting updated screenshots?

I updated the iPhone app to support the iPhone 5 screen.

I did this earlier for another application, and I had to upload new screenshots taken with the iPhone 5.

This time, iTunes Connect simply displays the status as “pending verification” and does not mention anything about the screenshots.

Am I a little worried that something went wrong? However, the application works fine on the iPhone 5 and simulator.

My application was taken yesterday, not a word about the screenshots.

The application works fine on iPhone 5, sent by Apple via email to complain about this is probably a mistake (iTUnes Connect does not recognize the localized Default.png, which is checked to check how iPhone 5 is optimized.)

Turns out Apple could block apps during the review process that have something wrong with the metadata. If they are mistaken, your metadata is mistaken, they will simply change the status of your application to "Refused metadata."

Here is a quote from the rules for this status:

Appears when certain metadata elements, other than your binary code, do not have passed the overview. To fix this problem, edit the metadata in iTunes Connect, and your existing binary will be reused for the review process. You receive a message from the application overview in Resolution Center regarding the cause of the metadata failure.

When things change in the AppStore (Apple adds the device), they may require that you get new screenshots. But if nothing has changed in their system, it’s normal that they don’t ask.

Do not worry!

They copy screenshots from the latest version of the application (or is your Retina4 screenshot section in itunesconnect empty?). Therefore, if you do not want to update them, everything should be in order.

Most likely, your application has not deleted the review (and now from the 21st) and will not be checked until the 29th. As soon as your application gets into the review, it will be rejected for missing screenshots. If you want to save time and pain, update the screenshots while Apple is idle for the Christmas holiday. You will thank yourself later.
